We are pleased to share an invitation from St Edmund's Church to their upcoming Windrush Celebration and Exhibition.

The Windrush Celebration will take place on Saturday 20 June, with activities and events throughout the day celebrating the contributions and heritage of the Windrush generation.

In addition, a two-week exhibition will be running, which will be visited by local schools, community groups and care homes. The exhibition provides an opportunity to learn more about the history, experiences and impact of the Windrush generation within our communities.

A closing event will be held on Thursday 25 June from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, featuring a talk by Tony Fairweather about the exhibition and its significance. Refreshments will be available throughout the evening.

We encourage families who may be interested to attend either or both events and support this important community celebration.
